2020 was a year that was described in broad strokes. To say it was a “bad year” doesn’t accurately express the nuances of the human experience. In the grips of a global pandemic, people became ill, lost loved ones, struggled with isolation, dealt with depression and in some cases thrived. It was and continues to be different for everyone.

Life will return to “normal” for many of us but not for all. I would like to think that we all have the opportunity to learn and grow from our collective experiences.

This album is a combination of improvised music recorded over the past year along with poetry and field recordings that I had lying around or created especially for this project.

Art is how I cope with tough situations which is why I plan to give all proceeds from this release to art based therapy charities. Below are my two charities of choice.
